ABOUT NFCE ALTERNATIVE PROVISION

Our Alternative Provision is an independent specialist provider of education in Hampshire for children aged from 6-12 (Key Stage 2 and Year 7) who have a range of complex needs arising from neurodiversity, attachment disorder or a phobia of education.

We are part of New Forest Care Education, a specialist provider for young people. The provision is currently undergoing registration with the DfE to provide up to 20 places for boys and girls.

School Environment

Split over two different farm settings, one near Romsey and the other at Bartley, each holding its own unique and special character. Our Bartley site is next door to our school farm and animal care site, and the Romsey setting is on the main NFC Outdoor Learning Centre site.

It is a short distance between the two sites, and whilst a young person may have one as their home setting, they use the fantastic facilities of both sites equally.
